Episode 45 El Band

First and foremost the The Band needs to give props to J.C. from Rock Monster for taking time out of his busy schedule to record our intro for us.  Thank You.  Now for the show content, after a week off, Cousin Jay and Garrett have plenty on their minds.  First with an American Idol recap, then on to the NCAA mens and womens championship.  Congrats to UF and UT, Cousin Jay is very upset that his Maryland 'Terps couldn't repeat, but all is forgiven.  Also on the docket for the show is racism in this day and age as well as everyone's new favorite sport, FIGHTING!. . . or just the UFC.

The Band turns in another great show!  The Show kicks off with MLB and World Series Chatter.  Because neither Cousin Jay nor Garrett cares about baseball, that doesn't last very long.  Neither does the latest talk on the NBA.  Thank God there's still football to be played and the A-Team vs. G-Unit is continued (as Garrett went 0-4 last week!).  What is wrong with FSU and UM, and why is Gator fan screaming for Tebow to play more.  The show comes to an end when Garrett and Cousin Jay break into a discussion on Entertainment and Porn, now that's tons of fun.  Sorry there was no show last week, so we wanted to come in strong tonight!  Have fun!  emailtheband@verizon.net

Episode 25: Ready 2 Fight.

The Band shows their discust for the Major League Baseball playoffs and for the New York Yankees.  Does anyone care that the NBA has kicked off with recent pre-season games?  As usual A-Team vs G-Unit gets competitive.  Does anyone care that Ed Herman lost his first UFC fight since TUF? Garrett and Cuz J breakdown the status of the NFL, now five weeks into the season.  Does anyone read these show summaries?  Also the Band gets back into UFC and Entertainment with their favorite movies of the year.  Who cares...., Nobody Listens Anyway, Damn it!

Episode 24: Wednesday Night Lights...is gay!  The Band holds nothing back when discussing men that paint each other.  Other than that, The Band jumps into NFL, NCAA, and for the 1st time High School Football.  Cousin Jay has an exciting week by going 3-0 in his picks, while Garrett only managed to go 2-1.  The A-Team vs G-Unit rivalry gets back into full swing by picking 4 big games each.  Listen to the show and see where the chips fall as Cousin Jay and Garrett are now tied at 5 wins and 4 loses each.  Feel free to submit your pics or be a wussy from the sidelines, punk!

Episode 23: The Band Plays Doctor, NOT with each other!  Cousin Jay and Garrett discuss the amazing stories of Chris Simms getting his freakin' spleen removed and T.O.'s emtional and pyschological state.  Listen to Cousin Jay as he "drops some knowledge" and proves he did actually learn something while getting his degree in Psychology from FSU.  Don't forget a few minutes of A-Team vs G-Unit and the Mighty "Nole Chat" on their QB dilemma.  Garrett takes one step forward toward greatness in the rap game while Cousin Jay looks from afar in beautiful Polk County.

Episode 22: "I'm a Soldier"

In this episode, you'll undoubtely notice the crappy sound quality, but the content provided by Cousin Jay & Garrett is as good as its ever been!  It's all football once again as this week the guys continue with early NFL coverage, and breakdown what's wrong with the NFL & NCAA football teams in Florida.  Plus, you'll hear other assorted ramblings about confusing mascots, Florida State worship (suprise), and Kellen Winslow, Jr.

Episode 21: Donde Estan Mis Pantalones en Miami.  Cousin Jay discusses his escapades in Miami at the O.B., as well as dealing with the psychological trauma of hearing that FSU was losing to Troy while surrounded by "muy loco" screaming Hurricane fans (Buddah says it was karma, I think?).  Anyway the re-emergence of A-Team vs G-Unit comes to the forefront as Cousin Jay and Garrett pick three winners for NCAA and the NFL, along with a few surprises.  Don't worry no more dream sequences about Xavier Lee or any other large black men with dreadlocks.  Have fun!!
