- I've downloaded a video podcast, but it cannot be played on the ZENcast Organizer. Is there anything I can do?
In order for video podcasts to be played, a movie player needs to be installed on your system. For .wav, .wmv or .avi files, ensure that Microsoft Windows Media Player 10 is installed. For .qt, .mov, .m4v or mp4 formats, ensure that QuickTime Version 7.0.3 and above is installed. - Where are the downloaded ZENcast files located?
They are located in the ZENcast Media Folder, which can be found if you select Tools > Settings > Update. - How do I check for new episodes?
ZENcast Organizer checks for updates on a periodic basis if you select the option Every Hour, Every Day or Every Week in the Check for New Items dropdown menu under Tools > Settings > Updates.You can also check for new episodes manually by clicking the Update Now button

- How do I transfer the ZENcast items to my ZEN player?
You can allow ZENcast Organizer to transfer items to your player automatically by configuring the ZENcast settings in Sync Manager. Click on Tools > Sync Manager to achieve this.If you just want to transfer items from a particular channel, simply select the channel and click the Transfer button.
- Where are ZENcast items stored in my ZEN Vision or ZEN Vision:M player after they are transferred from ZENcast Organizer?
All items will be placed in Main Menu > Video > Video > ZENcast > Channel Name. - Which Creative players support ZENcast Organizer?
Besides ZEN Vision and ZEN Vision:M, the latest version of ZENcast Organizer can now support the following players :-Video & Audio ZENcasts

You can still transfer podcasts to your player as per normal, but you will not enjoy the benefits of faster transfers unless you upgrade your firmware. - Can I transfer podcasts to ZEN Vision or ZEN Vision:M with the new firmware (Version 1.3x and above) using the old ZENcast Organizer (Version 1.00.07) ?

Why is this so?
The firmware upgrade creates a new folder (Media Library > ZENcast), which is more user-friendly and easier to navigate to. After synchronization, items that were in your old folder (at Media Library > Videos > ZENcast) will also be in the new folder. If there is nothing that you want to keep in the old folder, you can delete it to optimize space on your player.

We only accept feeds directly submitted by the owners of the site. You can ask these site owners to do that through the online form. Due to overwhelming response, a certain amount of time is required for us to review the submission. - I've seen my podcasts on this website. Is my feed being hijacked and served by a ZENcast URL?
ZENcast was created as a platform for podcast creators to showcase their podcasts to the widest audience possible, and not for "hijacking" feeds or revenue-earning purposes. Whenever a user clicks on the Subscribe For Free button on your channel page, ZENcast pulls the RSS feed straight from your site. Your original feed URL is then stored on the ZENcast Organizer software, so that all your latest episodes will always be available to your subscribers. If for some reason your website is unavailable, your channel page will not appear on ZENcast. - I have submitted my RSS feed, but why is it not included in the ZENcast listing?
Due to overwhelming response, a certain amount of time is required for us to review the submission. When it is approved, we will hyperlink the video blog and/or podcast on to ZENcast and you will receive an email from us to confirm this.

Most streams play reasonably well on a 512kbps connection, but some channels might benefit more from even higher bandwidths.
